Waxmaya candles are made from 100% pure beeswax sourced from apiaries in Quebec. I (Maya) make each candle by hand in my studio in Montreal. I fell in love with beeswax about 7 years ago and haven’t stopped making candles since. Beeswax is the starting point for this project, the guiding force. It is a magical substance, naturally golden, purifying, grounding, a beautiful amalgamation of flowers, and pollen and honey and bees. I am a dedicated craftsperson and care deeply about process and material and quality. These candles are simple, the material speaks for itself. They are good company while laughing or eating, with friends or by yourself, while you cry or rest, or while celebrating. Enjoy!
